WHO WE ARE
Association for Socio Economic Development (ASED) is a non-profit, non-political, and voluntary organization established in 2015 with the vision of creating a more equitable, sustainable, and inclusive society.
Since its foundation, ASED has been working tirelessly to improve the socio-economic conditions of disadvantaged communities by implementing humanitarian, educational, healthcare, environmental, and livelihood development programs. Our initiatives are designed to empower vulnerable people, strengthen communities, and promote sustainable development across Bangladesh.
We believe that lasting change begins with community participation, equal opportunities, and collective responsibility.
OUR STORY
ASED was founded in 2015 with a simple yet powerful mission—to stand beside disadvantaged communities and help them build a better future.
Recognizing the challenges faced by poor families, women, children, unemployed youth, persons with disabilities, and disaster-affected communities, ASED began implementing community-based development programs focused on education, healthcare, environmental conservation, humanitarian assistance, and livelihood development.
Over the years, our commitment to social development has continued to grow. Through dedicated volunteers, local partnerships, and community participation, we have expanded our activities to address emerging social, environmental, and humanitarian challenges while promoting sustainable solutions.
OUR OBJECTIVES
ASED works to achieve the following objectives:
• Improve access to quality education.
• Promote public health and community well-being.
• Provide humanitarian assistance during natural disasters and emergencies.
• Improve access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities.
• Protect the environment through conservation and tree plantation initiatives.
• Promote climate change awareness and environmental sustainability.
• Empower women, youth, and disadvantaged communities through skills development.
• Support vulnerable children and persons with disabilities.
• Promote social awareness on health, education, child protection, gender equality, and drug prevention.
• Encourage community participation in sustainable development.
